In more detail, the following subtasks occur:
Objective: A mid-term workshop (expected number of participants: 30, selected) will be held with relevant stakeholders (policy makers, EU officials, utilities representatives, RES-E producers, consumer associations, academics etc.) - with the aim to provide the necessary feed-back from relevant stakeholders on the preliminary results of the project. Their comments will be taken into account and included in the realisation of the formal dynamic model.
Objective: A final conference (expected number of participants: 100-120) with all participants and a range of key stakeholder and representatives from the European Commission will be held in Brussels at the end of the project. Aim:
To discuss essential insights with key players and representatives from the European Commission;
To give recommendations to policy makers to find a set of efficient and sustainable policies to integrate RES-E with other EU-related objectives, such as energy efficiency and climate change abatement over time;
To help various stakeholders to derive an economically efficient portfolio strategy in a liberalised electricity market under the constraints of RES-E development and GHG-reduction.
Objective: To organise three dissemination seminars (expected number of participants: 20). Aim:
To make various end-user familiar with the toolbox Green-X;
To give detailed recommendations regarding practical implementation of efficient strategies.
