The consortium of this research project consists of a well balanced group of organisations from eight European countries. The composition of the consortium was arrived at by choosing an efficient mix of universities, research institutes, consulting companies, stakeholder (e.g. producer, supplier, broker) and NGO. All partners have community-wide experience in their field of activity. Moreover, partners roles and functions within the consortium are fully complementary, dealing with the formal framework, the empirical assessment, dissemination and the recommendations for practical implementation in this project.
